Delhi The Place Of Historical Importance

New Delhi, the capital of India is the center of international trade and industries. It is situated between Haryana, Uttar-Pradesh and the holy river Yamuna flows through eastern region.

The metropolitan city, Delhi is known for its historical importance and buildings. Tourists worldwide visit throughout the year. Some place worth visiting are mentioned below: 
(a.) The Redfort - The Redfort is made of red-stones, which was built by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan. The building with three museums, a mosque and beautiful park the main attraction for visitors.
(b.) The Mughal-Garden - A beautiful garden with varieties of flowers and herbs inside the presidents building; is also worth visiting. But it opens only in February for few days.
(c.) India-Gate - The India-Gate was built to memorize the sacrifice of India-soldiers who sacrificed their lives during first world war. The park around it adds extra beauty to the place.
(d.) The Qutub-Minar - The Qutub-Minar the highest building. It also attracts thousands of tourists everyday. There is an iron pillar near it which has been rust free even its exposure to air for years.
(e.) The Jantar-Mantar - The Jantar-Mantar is situated at Cannaught Palace. It was built to measure the movement of the sun and the moon.
(f.) The Lotus Temple - The temple or place of prayer for Bahai region is a temple made in the form of lotus. It looks so beautiful and attracts lots of tourists everyday.
