Mimosa the unique plant that closes leaves when touched. It is popularly known as touch-me-not plant. Nature has gifted us with lots of beautiful plants with unique features to beautify our surroundings and make our survival convenient. Most of the plants help to prove scientific facts. As for example mimosa proves the characteristics stimuli. As soon as the leaves of mimosa plant is touched it leaves are closed but after sometimes it reopens again.

Mimosa and my childhood- During childhood I with my friends always visited to the fields and orchards in the village in the search of mimosa. It was so exciting and pleasing to touch the leaves of the plant and to see it closing its leaves and surprising to see the leaves reopening again. It was amazing game in those days without knowing the fact of stimuli.
